We need a day at Disney World for Special Needs children and their families!

Disney World is the happiest place on earth but NOT for some who may need it most. My daughter and I have stopped bringing my grandson Mason to the park because it is very difficult for a child with autism or other special needs and their families. I'm certain loved ones of these "special children" would agree that it is disturbing when people stare, point fingers and make comments, its more than disturbing, its painful.

A designated special needs day at the park would allow families  who have a variety of special needs to enjoy themselves like other families do among others who understand and are supportive.

Once we have enough signatures, we will be alerting the media (including the Ellen show) and finally Disney World.

We will be appealing to "THE HEART OF DISNEY" to consider a day or perhaps just an evening for those with any sort of special needs so they and their families can feel comfortable and for a period of time, forget their troubles and the rigorous shedules, therapies and routines in a safe place and just be kids having fun among others like themselves in the happiest place on earth!

Please sign our petition and make this a reality!

Sincerely,

Chris & Sheina
