Boris Johnson's Brexit deadline is coming closer by the day and despite so many warnings of the damage it would cause he still seems prepared to take this country out of the EU, even if no deal has been reached. However differently everyone voted in the referendum surely we should all agree that this is a terrible idea.
Many respected professors in the medical industry have warned of an outbreak of death in Britain if there is no deal. Resulting medicine shortages and delays will be detrimental. People who have fought terrible illnesses and stayed alive until now do not deserve to die because of Brexit, and even if that sounds dramatic too many experts are predicting it to allow this dreadful outcome to simply be dismissed.
With this in mind, however much it costs Britain has to be allowed to remain in the EU until either a deal has been reached or we change our minds and Remain after all. Lives are more important than money or a quick exit, and they sadly are at stake here.
