Stop the Clear Cutting of Shoreline Trees on Dayton Ave

One hundred and thirty trees are proposed to be clear-cut by Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) in response to Shoreline code. WSDOT plans to renovate its facility in Shoreline and the significant tall trees surrounding WSDOT on Dayton Ave. N., N. 160th and N. 155th are at risk! Demand that WSDOT and the City of Shoreline save these trees. We must all work to save our tall urban trees which provide protection from climate change and a habitat for wildlife. Many of these trees are 60 years old. Help preserve these trees for future generations. Our way of life in Shoreline and the NW is being threatened by irresponsible and irreversible development. We want responsible development that does not clear-cut our tall trees. Please sign this petition. Stand with us to tell the City of Shoreline and WSDOT that clear-cutting our trees is unacceptable. Stand with these trees and do the right thing! These beautiful trees need your help now!
