In 2016, women and girls around the world are still faced with the horror of men like ‘legal rape’ advocate Daryush ‘Roosh V’ Valizadeh.
This so-called 'pick-up artist' has made headlines across Australia as the founder of Return of Kings, a group of males who believe rape should be legal on private property, according to a report in The Guardian.
The group had planned to stage a series of meetings across Australia, however, public outrage led to 'Roosh V' cancelling meetings, saying he ‘can no longer guarantee the safety or privacy of the men who want to attend’.
Interesting that men's safety is a priority for Mr 'Roosh V' - he certainly has no regard for the safety of women.
The message of 'Roosh V' is nothing more than hate speech and hate speech must not be given a platform, especially on social media. His Facebook page has more than 19,000 supporters.
Both women and girls should not have to live a world that allows males of such character to have a voice.
Will you join me in urging Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, to shut-down this group's Facebook page?
Let's send a message - the world won't tolerate the abuse of women!
