Stop the sale of silencers

House Republicans are on track to advance legislation easing firearms rules, including a package of bills backed by the National Rifle Assn. that would make it easier to purchase silencers. NOTE: The death toll in Las Vegas would have been much higher if the shooter had been using silencers. Silencers have one purpose - to quietly kill people. That's what they were invented for. The guise of the NRA in backing this is "to protect the hearing of hunters." Hunters can use cheap disposable earplugs.
