Tell Tesla shareholders to reject Elon Musk's outrageous $56 billion pay package

Tesla is asking its shareholders to approve a $56 billion pay package for Elon Musk that was rejected by a judge earlier this year. The request comes at a time when Tesla is losing market share, and facing sagging prices, recalls, and the layoff of more than 14,000 workers.

A group of shareholders is responding with a loud "HELL NO", and we couldn't agree more.

Look, $56 billion is an absurd amount to pay one person, regardless of company circumstances. But when a company is struggling, and the top guy seems more focused on Twitter battles than fixing what needs to be fixed, you can certainly understand why shareholders are going ballistic over this. And they have every right to say NO to it.

The vote is set for the company's annual meeting on June 13th, so we need to act now to build momentum against the move.
