Tell media not to cover Trump’s COVID-19 briefings – they’re just campaign rallies

Earlier this spring, Trump, his ludicrous pandemic task force, and random businessmen appeared on television for daily coronavirus briefings, spouting misinformation, lies, and political propaganda.

In the face of sagging poll numbers and spiking cases, Trump is restarting his daily briefings. But this time, the few actual experts (like Dr. Fauci) who were willing to challenge the President's lies will be gone. Instead, it will mainly be Trump with an audience and live mic.

Sound familiar? It should: it's a campaign rally.

Add your name to tell major news networks NOT to cover Trump's coronavirus briefings – they are campaign rallies, not news.

Due to the pandemic he helped ignite, Trump can't campaign the way he wants for reelection (he knows now he can't fill a stadium). So, he's using taxpayer money to get his message out.

This is illegal according to campaign finance rules. Furthermore, Trump's lies in past briefings have already cost people their lives – and his campaign speeches are cesspools of racism, bigotry, and violence.

The media must reject these briefings as the "news" they aren't.

Sign here to tell major news networks to keep Trump's COVID-19 briefings off the air. Campaign rallies full of pandemic lies are not responsible news.
