Put an end to kill shelters

I think it is a disgrace that perfectly healthy and friendly animals are put down every day in this country. There are many states that dont have kill shelters including the one i live in, which is NH.
There are many sanctuaries that are started where animals can live free and healthy lives. I dont believe this is an overpopulation issue, rather an issue of education and caring and getting those involved that can help
