Justice for the torture of Sage the Cat

"This is the worst abuse case I have ever seen!" That is how the president of the Humane Society of Northern Utah, Debbie Barnes described what happened to Sage. Sage a 6-year-old cat was found at her owners doorstep earlier this week barely holding on to life.

When Sage appeared back at his home after having gone missing for four days, his owner China saw a ball of fur she could barely recognize. "He had been beaten and tortured, his whiskers cut, fur shaved and ribs snapped." His eyes had been glued shut and he was unable to even meow. Sage was brave, but he couldn't hold on and he died just one day after returning home.

The abuse Sage endured is unspeakable. Whoever did this took their time to torture and torment this poor cat and some have asked if he poses a danger not only to more animals in the neighborhood, but even to the people. This person must be found and they must be brought to justice for their crimes.

Please join me in asking Clearfield Police Chief Greg Krusi to find the perpetrator of this horrific abuse and bring them to justice.

Dear Police Chief Greg Kursi;

We hope you will do all you can to find the person who tortured and killed Sage the cat. I, and thousands of others, are shocked to read the abuse this poor cat endured. Please find him and ensure that he will not get away with his crimes.

Hi All,

Thank you so much for taking the time to sign this petition. What happened to Sage is truly tragic. No living thing should ever experience this kind of cruelty. It seems that Sage's case is still open so we need to keep the pressure on. I am hoping we can reach 100,000 signatures before I send the petition to the decision maker. Keep sharing. Together we can make sure Sage isn’t forgotten.
