Help Protect Sierra Vista-Mask Us Up!

We need action to help protect our citizens from coronavirus transmission. As of May 11, Cochise County had 42 confirmed cases. Less than 6 weeks later, cases have increased to 8 times that amount, increasing by 100 in the past week. As of June 19th, Cochise County has a total of 332 cases and 6 deaths. Wearing face coverings in public places can slow the virus spread. Contrary to what's stated on the city website, the majority of residents do not appear to be wearing masks and practicing social distancing, but rather, they are acting as though Covid is no longer a threat, as cases continue to rise. Suggestions and recommendations are not good enough, we need strong leadership and we need mandatory masking where social distancing can not be done. Please help keep us citizens of the city and county healthy, so we can also keep businesses open safely.
