Demand Brevard County enforce equal access (as required by deed restrictions) to Hightower and Pelican Parks in Satellite Beach for FREE ANNUAL PASS for EVERYONE FOR these Brevard County Funded Beaches.

When Brevard County gave Hightower and Pelican Parks to Satellite Beach cITY, it came with the deed restriction of no differential in fee - MEANING EVERYONE PAYS THE SAME.  So whatever the city charges city residents, so to they MUST charge everyone.  Since the city is giving free passes to their city residents; they must also for everyone else.  But the city is not!

Satellite Beach implemented charging for parking at former County Parks which went into effect September, 15th, 2023.  While a free pass is available at https://bit.ly/freebeachparking it isn't available for everyone.

1. Complaints are that people are being denied a pass.   Also Satellite Beach residents can get 5 passes; while everyone else only 2 passes.

2.  People renting a car cannot get a pass.   People from outside of US also cannot get a pass as limited to US states only.

3. City is exempting golf carts in city only without a plate; but does not allow golf carts from outside of city to park free.

4. The system is requiring user to upload vehicle registration which is not required for paying customers on same system.  And a delay of 3 days - an artificial delay to force people to pay.

It was Brevard who PAID for these parks' lands. When Brevard County GAVE Hightower and Pelican Parks to Satellite Beach in 2012, it was with legal agreement and restrictive covenants on sale protecting equal access for Brevard and State residents and Visitors to parking at Hightower and Pelican parks.

Never mind that the County paid for these parks.  These parks are for ALL Brevard County and visitors per the deed restrictions.
