Justice for Alexander Domina

Alexander Domina was a 19 year old man who suffered with many different mental illnesses. His childhood growing up was full of mental, physical, and sexual abuse. He already had been threw so much in his life. He was in and out of different group homes and facilities throughout his whole childhood. When he turned 19 he went to live with his grandmother in colorado to start fresh and do better. He was only with his grandmother for about few months when, he was having a mental crisis and breaking things. His grandmother, Judy Domina, then called the police for help. The police then shot alex 3 times in the abdomen and once in the arm before even 2 minutes of being there. The officer then continued to stand there and point the gun at alex while he was on the floor begging for help. Watching the video of alex is heartbreaking to many. Alex has been in and out of the system his whole life and was terrified of cops because of it. He didn't want to go back so he grabbed a knife, because at the time he thought it would keep the officers from hurting him. He heard his grandmother say he needs to be committed and was scared to go back. Alex has had mental crisis like this before and could be easily talked down. He would still be here today if the police knew how to handle the situation. The cop that shot him should get charged or even put away, but they don't think so. His grandmother did not give the cops all the information they needed to assist it correctly but they still could of done better. no 19 year old deserves to die because they are having a mental crisis and are scared something will happen to them. Being shot 4 times when they never tried to talk him down or even tase him. The officer shot to kill and there not gonna charge him. He deserves to get charged with murder when that was his intention. He could of tried to talk him down, tase him, and if necessary shoot him one time not four. Alex was an amazing brother, son, and grandson may he rest in peace and get the justice he deserves.
