Put a Stop to Mississippi Child Protective Services stealing,kidnapping,and/or human trafficking TODAY!!!
On July13,2016 Marion County DHS/CPS came to my home(had just moved to Marion Co. on July 12,2016 after living in Monticello MS (Lawrence County)for approximately4+yrs.
The 2 ladies from CPS ,a caseworker and an investigator,accompanied by 3 Marion Co.Sheriff's Deputies(w/weapons drawn)to investigate false allegations,but allegations none the less...It was reported that me and my husband of 27+yrs had kidnapped my 2 GRANDSONS,ages 6 & 5 yrs old,(they've lived with us since the youngest grandson was approx.4 months old,as well as kidnapping our youngest daughter,7 yrs old...
Now here's where it gets tricky,so to speak...
Our 7 yr old daughter is NOT our biological daughter...We got her when she was about 2 months old,Her biological mother left her(mother was 16 or 17 at the time)..She stayed gone weeks or sometimes months at a time.We never stopped her from spending time with the baby,even encouraged her to come see her baby..we will call her Baby Jane...She would come by sporadically,up until baby Jane's 2nd birthday,in which we had her a bday party,and invited the bio mom...She didnt show up...Over the next 5 yrs,there wasn't much communications between she and us...My husband and I tried to go thru legal aid for the adoption of Baby Jane,a low income legal services, due to our finances...The paperwork for the adoption was typed out..The TPR was mailed out to both biological parents,with instructions as to having it signed and notarized then mailed back to the Law Firm...The both of them signed,dated,¬orized the paperwork..The mother mailed hers to the Law Firm,(she lives out of state)..The father brought his paperwork to my husband,(bc he had to leave out for work offshore...All necessary documents were signed,sealed,& delivered to Law Firm...Long story short,bc we didn't have $775 for a random home check (my husband is also on kidney dialysis 5 1/5 hrs a day,3 days a week)..We was told that if the home study come-up during one of his dialysis days,and he was not home at the time,we would lose the $775 paid for the home study AND they would schedule another,at the cost of $525...Needless to say,we couldn't go forward with the adoption bc we are on a set income and couldn't afford it...
So basically CPS took both grandsons and my daughter bc the home i moved into in Marion Co.(Columbia)was not safe or appropriate for the 3 children bc we had boxes and furniture scattered in the home that we had moved into the DAY BEFORE (July 12,2016)
We have been fighting to get the kids back for over 15 months now,doing everything asked of us,completing every single task they put before us...
Well,let's fast forward a bit...Around January 4,2017 ,We went to yet,another court date and it was bitter sweet...My grandsons were placed in their biological father's custody,full custody,even though he had not seen or been involved in their lives very much in approx.4 yrs...
Then the court ordered a 90 day trial with our DAUGHTER in our home with us...
In the first week of March,CPS removed Baby Jane from our home again...I will be brutally honest...SHE WAS REMOVED BC I FAILED A DRUG TEST FOR MARIJUANA...I really screwed up...2 days after she was removed,we had court,and I openly admitted to the judge that i had slipped up and had NO EXCUSE for it...The judge said i needed some type drug rehab,to which i asked if she would have a problem with me seeking outpatient treatment,so i could still be home,to help out with my husband...She told me that would be fine..The judge then told my husband to turn in 3 people's names,phone numbers and such to our caseworker so she could do background checks on them,& if everything was checked out,our daughter would be put back home...He turned in everything they needed...
Felt so positive about court that day..He called and text the caseworker daily to see if everything was ok as far as the background check but she stalled everyday with something new that had to be done before Baby Jane could come back home...Caseworker said I would have to leave our home and move out (until i completed rehab) So,I MOVED OUT and went to our oldest daughters house...
5 days later the caseworker came to our home to tell my husband that i could come back home bc they were putting our daughter in a foster home...OUR WORLD FELL APART!!! They sent her to ANOTHER county,40-50 miles away!!!
Trying to sum all of this up to get our story out....
The caseworker called us and gave us 30-45 mins to get some of her clothes,shoes,& things together...I packed 2 over-night bags together with some of her clothes,shoes,and favorite toys and watches/bracelets and a 5×7 family picture of me,her,my husband,& both grandsons...took the bags to the DHS/CPS office and dropped off with the caseworker,this was a Friday evening,and she was taking Baby Jane's stuff to her,at the new foster home that same evening...
Had a family team meeting the following Monday morning at CPS office with the caseworker,a bureau director of a program ,ReNew MS (she was supposed to be quote "My voice in court"my husband,myself and our lawyer..I specifically asked the caseworker if my daughter saw the family pic i sent to her and she responded "Oh,Im sure she did...She was getting everything out at once,i wasn't really watching her too much bc I was talking with foster parents...The next afternoon,Tuesday,the lady from the ReNew MS wanted me and my daughter(mother of my grandsons) to come to the DHS office for a lil meeting of sorts...It was 4 "0clock in the evening and since the caseworker had already left for the day,we was put in her office...the director lady walked out the caseworkers office to go make copies of some papers...Sitting there in that room waiting on her to walk back in,i was looking at pics of this caseworkers family pics and kids colorings,and something n the corner by the door caught my eye....THE 2 OVER-NIGHT BAGS I HAD PACKED FOR MY DAUGHTER WITH ALL HER STUFF,AND THE FAMILY PIC,THAT SHE TOLD ME SHE TOOK TO HER....I admit,i was furious!!! I was lied to,yet again by these folks and the department....The director walked in,i explained,through tears,what had transpired and she consoled me,assuring me that SHE WOULD TAKE HER BELONGINGS TO MY DAUGHTER,That Friday,3 days later ....
Lies,lies and more lies....To just sum this up,The picture that was supposedly given to my daughter by 2 MS.Dept.of Human Services employees,was actually found in a dumpster behind a second hand store a couple months ago...
At the last court date last month,September 24 i believe,Myself,my husband,&our lawyer was denied entrance into court proceedings,saying we had ABSOLUTELY no vested entrance in the case!!! We have not seen or talked to our daughter in over 6 months due to a no contact order put in place in March...They (DHS WORKERS AND THEIR PRIVATE CHILD PSYCHOLOGIST) told our daughter,that me and my husband WAS NOT HER REAL MAMA &DADDY...
Only the biological mother(who had already signed her TPR papers not once,but twice and the foster parents were allowed in court,bc they are wanting to let the foster parents adopt her...
PLEASE HELP US BRING OUR DAUGHTER HOME!!!
