In 2010 Devechio Rowlands was arrested for dog fighting that involved four others in a dog fighting ring. August 28, 2017 Chief Dodd in Polk County with a camera crew walked trails of chained dogs lacking food, water, some had no shelter and all starved for human contact. Some of these dogs were infested with fleas & ticks, had injuries and multiple scars. Chief Dodd and a team of people in rescuing entities to include Douglas County as well gathered together the following day to supply food and water and begin the transportation process for medical attention and rehoming. AT THIS TIME...YOUR SIGNATURE is to demand this person Devechio Rowlands who is a repeat offender receives the maximum sentencing and a solid conviction to result in a minimum 20 years in prison subject but not limited to not possession or to be in contact with ANY animals of any kind for the rest of his life. 70 dogs have been rescued this time and the amount destroyed by this man is unknown on this foreclosed piece of property hidden in the woods of Polk County. The amount of " others" involved with Rowlands this time is yet unknown at this time and he must not receive any time off for cooperating hence forth minimum 20 years. We the public must demand this as tax paying citizens and animal guardians. Thank you.
