Bring a Target to Iowa City's Eastside

With the closing of another Eastside Iowa City business, Lucky's Market, it's time to work together to attract a successful, upscale retailer like Target. Target CEO Brian Cornell said last March that Target will rethink stores, digital experiences, and the connection between the two. They are opening small-format stores across the country through this year. Let's remind Target to consider Iowa City, and to ensure our city council and other city leadership take this request seriously.
