More Vegetarian, Vegan, and Pescetarian Food Options at Millersville University!

As a pescatarian student attending Millersville University, it can be demoralizing and disappointing at times to not have very many food choices available to me. Since I started in the fall, my diet has consisted of only three foods; sushi available through the meal plan, salads, and occasionally vegetarian burgers. However, with the long wait times for vegetarian burgers at places like the Galley and Anchor, it can be a difficult decision to make between getting that, or going down the path of least resistance and just getting the same thing I always get.

Additionally, for students who want to take their health into their hands, diet is half of the process of losing weight and keeping it off. Vegetarian, Vegan, and Pescatarian diets all help in weight loss and in general well being.

As a solution, I think that producing a larger, more varied array of vegetarian options, both hot and cold, would be beneficial for student health and help their morale a little as well. After all, students thrive on helping create solutions to better themselves and others.
