Keep Vermont State Route 58 Free of All ATV Vehicle Use

VASA , The Northwest Vermont Wheelers ATV Club wants Montgomery Vermont to open State Rt. 58 to ATV use so they can have access to Lowel Vermont. Westfield Vermont presently does not allow ATV use as well.

Our fragile environment and your quality of life in Montgomery Vermont is at stake, The ATV community wants Montgomery to open up more roads for their personal recreation. Our wildlife and natural life is in danger and so is your life.

There is a Montgomery Selectboard meeting January 21. Please consider attending this VERY IMPORTANT meeting to show your support to keep not just Vermont State Rt. 58, Regan Road, The Gibou Road but ALL of Montgomery's roads closed to ALL ATV use with the exception of agricultural use. The Montgomery Selectboard will be putting possible changes to the ATV ordinance on the agenda for the next meeting, January 21, at 6:30pm. The Northwest Vermont Wheelers will be out in force at the meeting. They are going to ask the Fish & Game people to come and talk about enforcement. 

FYI, the Northwest Vermont Wheelers sent them an email stating they "really need to open Regan and the Deep Gibbou Roads," apparently unaware that under the current ordinance they are already open,. The meeting is at Montgomery Elementary School at 6:30 pm.
