After recent demolishing of the Do it yourself skatepark (Was located behind old button factory.) for new condos , the upcoming generation of kids and passionate locals have no where to come together around skateboarding without breaking New Hampshire laws . The local scene has slowed down and is desperately needing a new site for the community .the only nearby skatepark is an indoor park in Rye that you must pay and sign a waiver to enter. This new skatepark will also bring people from out of area to explore the town. Nearby areas have already begun the process of building a skatepark such as Stratham and Dover . The people and city of portmsouth would both benefit from a new skatepark bringing a larger community together.
