Derin's story
It's a Tuesday evening we got a call from one of our volunteers reporting a heavily wounded dog who is crying for help, without wasting a minute our team rushed there to rescue that baby but what they saw there was shocking ,the dog's left eye got partially eaten by maggots and the remaining got covered by his own excess flesh, after giving him some food our team took him to the shelter and after first Aid and a CT for head was taken , the CT showed that his eyes was not fully damaged and only covered by flesh also some part of right eye was also damaged by maggots so we had consulted a neurologist to know more about his condition After a small examination he suggested to first go for a surgery which helps in removing the outer flesh which is covering his eye and then an Eye check up to decide what kind of medication he wants to restore his vision on the left, the surgery and corresponding medication would cost $600, street dog shelter is a raised from scrap organisation run by graduates and students and we have around 480 dogs to take care of so it's not possible for us to spend a huge amount on a single dog but with your help it's possible,
