The Sor Juana Classical Program Has Been Saved!

This is a petition to continue recognizing Sor Juana as a Classical Elementary School. The students of the Southwest side deserve access to high quality education. Sor Juana's Classical Program is vital to this community. I sign here to show my support that Sor Juana should be recognized as a Classical and STEAM Elementary School.

Esta es una petición para continuar reconociendo a Sor Juana como una escuela primaria clásica. Los estudiantes del lado suroeste merecen acceso a una educación de alta calidad. El Programa Clásico de Sor Juana es vital para esta comunidad. Firmo aquí para mostrar mi apoyo a que Sor Juana debe ser reconocida como una escuela primaria clásica y STEAM.

Thank you for the outpouring of support! Sor Juana Elementary is here to stay! Many have been misinformed, we are not closing nor is the Classical Program being watered down. K-3rd Steam is full and thriving and 1st-3rd Classical is succeeding! The first Southwest Side Selective enrollment school with a dual program is going to start its Kinder kick-off in September for 2020/2021. If you have a gifted 3-4yr old we can help you every step of the way with CPS-Office of Access & Enrollment.
