Osburn rd in waycross ga is a county maintained road now. The county has not been able to pave it for years now due to two of the original land owners. Now there are several more land owners and tax payers on this road and it is an absolute mess! Every time it rains, no school, no trash pick up, and for some of us without trucks no work! Recently someone has decided to use my corner lot as a by pass to go around the water meanwhile they have ruined my yard, someone even got stuck and rooted up huge ruts and didn't even have the decency to come back and apologize or offer to fix it. The mosquitoes from the standing water are insane! It looks like a river not a road. I have reached out to our local commissioner for help, even sent in pictures, all i got was a repy stating he would pass it on to the committee....? i have had the county out here several times and no one can offer any relief for the drainage of the water! This is redicuous and needs to be heard because of two people, who do not own all the land nor the road anymore can continue to stop the paving.
