TELL CONGRESS THAT IT IS TIME TO PROTECT ALL INNOCENT ANIMALS

POPCORN'S LAW
During the month of July Popcorn was left at home to be taken care by a family member while we were away on vacation. We were suppose to return in less than three days to see our sweet fur baby boy when they found out that Popcorn had been killed. He had been put to sleep.
No Popcorn was not sick. He had just turned 11, so no he was not old either for a West Highland Terrier. Westies have been known to live until they're 17 years old, sometimes longer than this.
Needless to say we were both devastated when this happened. We made the decision to make sure that no innocent animals will ever have to die unnecessarily like Popcorn did.
We want to petition Congress to make a nationwide
POPCORN'S LAW
This law would not allow for any veterinarians to euthanize an animal unless all family members have agreed to do this.
When Popcorn died we were never notified about this until after he was dead. Losing Popcorn has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.
There was no excuse for what happens to Popcorn, and we want to make sure that it never happens again.
Please join us, and sign our petition. Please tell your family, and your friends to sign too.
We want to make sure that Congress understands that it's completely necessary to have Popcorn's Law.
Many states like our state do not require that the veterinarian contact the owners. A caregiver can euthanize an animal just by asking for it. Just like what happened with our sweet boy Popcorn.
ALL veterinarian must be required to contact all of the animal's owners before doing anything major, especially when it comes to euthanasia.
ALL animals deserve better than this. We need to speak for them, because they cannot speak for themselves.
Please make sure that this never happens to your animals, or to anyone else that you love who has animals too. Please do NOT allow another innocent animal to die.
