Tell Representative Beau LaFave and the Insurance Companies, KEEP Michigan No-Fault auto insurance. Say "NO" to HB-4024. The replacement bill for insurance, HB-4024, has no guarantees to save you money. It actually would cost much more to get what No-Fault entitles you. With No-Fault you are entitled to unlimited medical expenses and attendant care in duration, up to 3 years for wage loss and household chores, and mileage paid for personal injury protection benefits if involved in an accident. Mr. LaFave says the people in Michigan want to pay less for auto insurance so he introduced HB 4024 which caps benefits and then you will pay the difference. You may have to file a lawsuit to be compensated. Michiganders don't know what they will be losing vs. saving with HB-4024.
