As one of the fastest growing recreational sport in the world, the Tri County Disc Golf club is seeking immediate approval for being included in phase one of the NB Sports complex. We are respectfully requesting this for several mutually beneficial reasons. First, our club is installing this 18 hole disc golf course at NO expense to the city or the project. This is important to understand because the city council expressed concerns about the cost of phase one and this will not raise the cost at all. Second, this course will bring in significant off season tourist revenue for the city. And finally, disc golf is the lowest cost per acre recreational sport to install and maintain compared to any other sport being considered for the sports complex. So we’ve been given a little more time to collect signatures. We are challenging each and every one of you to get 5 of your family , friends, life partners, kids, neighbors.....take you phone or iPad and go knock in some doors in your neighborhood. If you are proud of your sport and really want an 18 hole course in New Braunfels then get out there and get some NB signatures today. Time is running out and the door will close if we don’t act NOW.
