Rescue The Abused Animals of Amazing Animals Productions

Through his Amazing Animals Productions, Sidney Yost provided animals for some of the biggest films in Hollywood including "The Hunger Games" and "12 Years a Slave" and even the acclaimed horror film "Get Out".

But when production was over and the film crew packed up all their gear and went home, that was when the real horror began.

For years, Yost was abusing his animals behind the scenes. He subjected his animals to physical abuse by striking them with rocks and sticks and, deprived them of food and forced them to live in squalid conditions - all the while making thousands of dollars off their backs.

The US Department of Agriculture — the department in charge of monitoring the welfare of entertainment animals — was aware of the abuses, in fact, he was cited 40 times in a three year period for animal welfare violations. And yet, he was allowed to continue.

That changed this year when the USDA finally took decisive action and fined Yost $30,000 and revoked his license. Yet, for some strange reason the USDA decided not to force Yost to relinquish his animals. So while he will never again be able to handle, supply or exhibit his animals, he can still continue to abuse them.

What is the logic in that?

These animals should be rescued and handed over to a responsible sanctuary that cares about their animals' welfare, not profit.

Please sign the petition and ask the USDA to finish the job they started by forcing Yost to relinquish his animals so they can go to a sanctuary to have a better life.
