This man is in the middle of a divorce and decided to deliberately run her precious dog over with a car as payback to his soon-to-be ex-wife!!
I cannot exclaim the horror when I witnessed this story on HLN TV; a video of a man backing up his car in order to purposely run over the family Chihuahua dog. I have 3 Chihuahuas myself and cannot imagine harming any of them. This inhumane individual, Michael David Parker, 45 of southern California ran over and killed little Cow Cow the Chihuahua because he is angered at his soon-to-be ex-wife.
He aimed right at the helpless little dog, who was looking up at his “devoted owner,” ran over the little guy and then zoomed off without a second thought. Although this poor-excuse-for-a-human being is being charged with animal cruelty after Cow Cow’s lifeless body was found in the ally area where the incident occurred in Hawthorne, California. Mr. Parker claims he is innocent even though the action was caught on two separate surveillance cameras.
The video of this selfless act is so disturbing. Hawthorne Police Lt. Scott Swain states that "It's shocking. You never expect to see a little animal like that run over and left there to die without the driver even looking back. It wasn't an accident. He purposefully did it.” The poor dog was staying with another person temporarily while the Parker’s were going through a divorce. No one knows for sure that the dog was hit as a payback against the wife, who did not even know what happened. Hawthorne, CA Law Enforcement and Judicial System – Please ensure that Mr. Michael David Parker gets the maximum sentence possible for intentionally running over this poor dog with his vehicle. If he did it once, he can harm another animal again, or even a child. Prosecute and punish him to the full extent of the law and never allow him to own or even be near another poor, defenseless animal!
