Expresso Yo'Self have been on the Venice boardwalk for 2 decades, and every local's favorite is the boss TJ. Recently, a new landlord bought over the building, and refused to renew the contract with Expresso Yo'Self, with the intention of 1) renovating the building without paying for the time TJ can't work 2) Increasing rent price 3) kicking TJ out and replacing it with a "newer" coffee shop. Expresso Yo'Self, serves some of the best coffee on the boardwalk is well known for his famous TJ Cool (Vietnamese Coffee), Cracked Out, and delicious bread pudding. If you are a local in Venice, you probably know TJ by now. Let's continue supporting local coffee shops that have so much history and contribution to the Venice culture and not let selfish businessmen take over and think they know what's "best".
