Don't let cat's die, killed by animal haters!

  • by: simha chardon

This is an urgent message to you dear animal friend to sign this petition in order to protect the street cats in the area of Tel Mond, Israel.
Gail Joss from Chachi’s Haven ( ) is taking care for 82 abused and damaged cats in a warehouse. She feeds about 120 street cats, a number that grows every day.
While the 82 shelter cats are safe this is not true for the street cats. People try to hurt the cats, to take them away in order to kill them… Gail can’t feed the cats during the day because she and the cats are harassed by people trying to harm them.
A few days ago Gail arrived in time to see an evil man trying to lure cat’s into his van to take them away and kill them. She managed to make him left the place without harming any cat.
According to the Israeli Law Taking stray cats out of their natural environment is against the law. Poisoning stray cats is a violation of section 4 of the Animal Welfare Law (1994). Violation of this law is punishable by imprisonment.
Gail went to the police station but they don’t take her pleas to protect the stray cats seriously. As long as no cats are found killed they say: they can’t do anything. But this isn’t true because even displacing the cats is against the law!
Gail from Chachi’s Haven can’t do everything on her own. She needs our help to save this beautiful cats who deserve to live in peace.
Please sign the petition to urge the ministry of environment to protect the stray cats and help Gail in her crusade to help the street cats!

Update #14 years ago

Gail from Chachi's Haven came across the same evil man with his van who wants to trap and kill the cats... we need more signatures to prevent such evil persons from harming these innocent cats!
Gail stayed with the streetcats from the colony until they finished eating, and left the site. It was almost 5 a.m when she reached the last few feeding stations.

Help Gail to protect these innocent cats, help us to urge the ministery to use the law to protect the cats

thank you!
