Donald Trump is bragging that he's getting a "gift" plane from Qatar, but neglects to mention that it will cost somewhere in the neighborhood of a billion dollars to add the security measures necessary to use it as Air Force One.
It's an incredibly stupid move, since we already have multiple plans that can serve as AF1. But what makes it even stupider that is Trump is taking the plane with him when he leaves office.
WTF? We're going to spend over a billion on it, and then just give him the plane to take? Why not use it for the next president? Or sell it? Why give it to this pinhead grifter who's already stolen more from the country than all other presidents combined?
Look, if he wants White House M&Ms, or toilet paper, or even that stupid little desk he signs papers at, fine, let him have a souvenir. But there's no way in hell we should give him a plane we spent a billion dollars on.
The whole thing is incredibly stupid. Let's not make it even stupider.
