Reopen the Sinnickson Landing boat ramp!!

Stand up for your rights to enjoy the Salem River and don't allow one individual to deprive you of your access this wonderful local resource. This ramp is the entry to the river for emergency services, environmental studies and river surveys performed by the USGS as well as recreational boating and bird watching. It adds value to the homes in this area by providing access to the Salem and Delaware Rivers.

As residents of Salem County New Jersey we would like to support the reopening of the boat ramp in Elsinboro NJ at Sinnickson Landing Road.  This ramp provides access to the Salem River for recreational boaters who go hunting, fishing, bird watching or just a day of fun on the river.  Access to the river is very limited and it seems unfair to close the ramp due to one individual who has filed a complaint without the input of the other people who live here and those use the ramp.  This single point of view is flawed and other voices should be heard.  This ramp is used for emergency services, an annual veteran's ceremony and also for environmental studies and USGS surveys.  It is also visited by bird watchers to view a local bald eagle nest.  This ramp is a valueable resource in our community.
