Save Virginia Range Horses (Immediately).

The Virginia Range horses have been on the range for over 300 years. The Nevada  Board of Agriculture voted to direct the (NDA) to transfer ownership of around 3,000 Virginia Range horses to private entity meaning they would have property rights to do whatever they want to these horses. The vote was 9-1. After hours of public comment it was decided that the ownership be transferred to a private nonprofit group. A private nonprofit group can send the 3,000 Virginia Range horses to slaughter if they choose. The board says they hope to prevent slaughter because it's there responsibility that they are treated in a "humane manner." These wild Virginia Range horses have been on the range for over hundreds of years. Here is a question? --Where else would they go. A response from the public as with the tourist is that these Virginia Range horses draw business. They also bring tourist. Both of these answers make living and visiting Nevada something you want to do.

As Americans we can reach out to Governor Brian Sandoval and have him reverse this action. Please call, tweet or give him a email. You can also call your city council.

Please save the Virginia Range horses from any potential  danger that is about to happen.
