THE OFFICIAL RACE OFFENDERS REGISTER

"I'm fully in support of this important initiative. Its time race offenders are held to account. Many are repeat offenders and its vitally important that public employers, Black and Asian communities and the general public are informed of these repeat and persistent racists in our midsts." Lee Jasper. Former Deputy Mayor of London.

We are calling for the establishing of a Race Offenders Register as a tool to deal with all faces of racism and systemic racism. For us all to label racism as UNCIVILISED. From identifiable racist behaviours or decisions in the work place to provable racist behaviour on public transport. Our proposal is one that has precedence in the form of The Sex Offenders Register.
Our belief is that laws are the only tools that changes behaviours. We need tangible change. Change that reflects where society is at the moment, which is how can we put a stop to this problem society has. People want to see everyone treated equally and fairly. Our initiative also covers policing and law enforcement.
The idea is that an alleged offender will have 3 warnings or Strikes and then their name is put in the proposed Register. They will go through the normal processes once an offence is reported to the police. Due process will follows. If acquitted, then as with other cases, the accused suffers no consequences. However if convicted, the convicted person receives a first Warning on top of whatever sanctions the case may carry with it in terms sentencing. However they are warned about having their names put in the register. Another Warning then follows if the individual carries on the same path. Once a third conviction occurs, he or she is then placed in the Register.
The Register in our opinion has to have further consequences such as the Sex Offenders Register does.
What that looks like should and must be a public debate.
First lets us get Parliament to debate this by getting over 100,000 signatures.
Lets make this reality for those not even born yet.
