Donald Trump has just announced that he is accepting a free 747-8 jumbo jet from the royal family of Qatar, which they say they are giving as a "gift" but we all know it's a bribe.
This plane has been described as a "flying palace" and will be used by Trump instead of Air Force One until shortly before he leaves office, after which it will be transferred to the Trump Presidential Library. A gift of a free plane to Trump in all but name, accepting this gift is wildly illegal and an unprecedented display of corruption by the executive branch.

"I don't know who needs to hear this, but NO, Donald Trump cannot accept a $400 million flying palace from the royal family of Qatar. Not only is this farcically corrupt, it is blatantly unconstitutional," said Sen. Bernie Sanders in response to the news.
"Trump must seek Congress' consent to take this $300 million gift from Qatar. The Constitution is perfectly clear: no present "of any kind whatever" from a foreign state without Congressional permission. A gift you use for four years and then deposit in your library is still a gift (and a grift)," said Rep. Jamie Raskin, the lead Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee.
Congress must immediately take action to stop Trump from accepting this plane — and investigating everything that led up to the offer of this "gift."
