Two months before the 25th anniversary of the Tiananmen Massacre, authorities in China began detaining, disappearing, ques-tioning, and intimidating over 152 dissidents, human rights lawyers and activists, journalists, and others. Two weeks of ahead of the 26th anniversary of the Tiananmen Massacre, over 100 individu-als have been detained, put under house arrest, or "disappeared”.
