Increase Punishment for Animal Abuse

More and more stories are coming to light about animal abuse. Dogs being thrown away, thrown out of moving cars, burned alive, used for torture and as bait dogs just to name a few. The people responsible for these crimes are either hard to find or hard to prosecute but either way these animals are not getting the justice they deserve. It is our responsibility as human beings to empower and support the lives that cannot speak for themsleves. An example needs to made for this type of behavior and how unacceptable it is.
