They Rescued 52 Pets From a Horrific Case of Animal Neglect

A horrific case of animal cruelty has unfolded in Cobleskill, New York, where 52 animals were rescued from deplorable conditions. This appalling neglect left cats, dogs, birds, and other animals in desperate need of care, with some showing severe health issues including flea infestations, overgrown nails, and extreme fear of human interaction. Worse yet, some animals had already died due to this cruelty.

Sign the petition to demand that the individuals responsible for this cruelty be banned from ever owning animals again!

The conditions at the property were shocking. The animals were found in squalid living conditions, some too frightened to be handled, and others suffering from severe neglect.

A cat named Skunky was found playing in staff arms, and a dog named Ivory, though frightened, still sought affection from rescuers. But there were also dead animals, victims of neglect and abuse.

We must ensure that those who cause such suffering are held accountable. Banning these individuals from owning animals again is essential to preventing further cruelty. The shelter and local authorities are doing their part to care for these animals, but it's up to us to ensure that justice is served and that these abusers never have the opportunity to harm more innocent animals.

Sign this petition and demand that Schoharie County officials enforce a lifetime ban on animal ownership for the individuals responsible for this cruelty.
