Stop Reno From Spending $220k on Recoloring the Reno Arch!

Reno's city council plans to spend over $220k on repairing and repainting the second Reno Arch, built in 1983, to silver and blue over the original and world-renown red and white, despite the crises of growing rental costs, increased homelessness, and crumbling infrastructure. Despite these issues, the city fails to invest in its residents' quality of life, instead investing in tourism and large businesses to drive out the poor and small businesses. But when roads improve, when the homeless have safe and clean shelters, when households can afford rent while having money aside at the end of each month, and when our day-to-day needs are met, we are better able to reinforce, preserve, and give back to our community. Sign this petition to tell Reno's city council to spend the $220k on housing, NOT on the arch!
