Support Tony Nicklinson's right to die case

Mr Nicklinson, aged 57, is suffering from "locked-in" syndrome. He is confined to a wheelchair and has described his life as "dull, miserable, undignified and intolerable". He wants a doctor - and his family - to have a common law defence of 'necessity' against any possible murder charge if they help him to carry out his wish to a peaceful and dignified death. At present anyone assisting him in any way would face a murder charge. This law needs to be changed.
