Donald Trump just kept thousands of sailors stuck in a war zone aboard an aircraft carrier for months longer than expected—reportedly enduring food shortages, contaminated water, broken plumbing, extreme stress and horrific living conditions.
Then, instead of taking responsibility or showing even the slightest concern for the sailors and their families, Trump dismissed their suffering, mocked them and suggested they should remain at sea even longer.
And now Trump and the sycophants in his administration are pushing to name a new aircraft carrier after him. And they want to make room by taking off the name of a Pearl Harbor hero.
Are you freaking kidding us?
After what Trump just put the sailors aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln through, naming an aircraft carrier after him would be an insult to every sailor who serves aboard one.
There is no way we can let this happen.
