We already knew that Donald Trump was the most corrupt man to ever sit in the White House. But he's taking it to outrageous extremes that we cannot allow to stand. On May 27th, Trump announced he was pardoning Paul Walczak, a Florida nursing home executive, who had been sentenced to 18 months in prison and ordered to pay nearly $4.4 million in restitution after pleading guilty to siphoning employee tax payments to fund a luxury lifestyle that included a $2 million yacht.
Walczak's mom had recently attended a $1 million a plate fundraiser for Trump's campaign, an instance of the most obvious pay-for-play you could conceive of.

This comes on the heels of him pardoning a corrupt Virginia sheriff who took over $75,000 in bribes and a wealthy reality TV couple, Todd and Julie Chrisley, who have been convicted of tax evasion and serious bank fraud.
It's open season for white collar crime under the Trump administration…as long as the president and his team get a slice. This is beyond unacceptable and a complete repudiation of the rule of law, and Congress must take action IMMEDIATELY.
