As you are all probably aware, our Council woman, Kate Gallegos, has resigned her council seat to run for Mayor of Phoenix. Kate’s resignation has created a vacancy in district 8; after numerous conversations and encouragement from friends, family, mentors and members of our community, I have decided to submit my name for consideration to fill the City of Phoenix District 8 vacancy. For me, this is a once in a life time opportunity to serve and represent our community.
