Want Better Child Care? Demand More Than Minimum Wage for Child Care Workers!

Child care is an emotionally and mentally fulfilling job; you help your students grow, you watch them grow, you learn yourself what it means to have compassion and forward focused persistence, and what greatness comes from that and everything in between. There are many of us that uphold that character; we not only look it, but we feel it! Do you think 7.70 an hour is enough for child care workers that are that dedicated and driven for our children? I love this place and working with all of our students, I don't want to leave, but as a college student (as many of us here are), minimum wage is a poor wage in comparison to the rich work we put in here at Mini Scholars.
