India ban breeding of domestic pets; ask stores to keep rescued pets

There are 15 million homeless dogs in India. They survive on the streets begging for food and some human affection. Instead they get stones and cruelty.

Acquiring foreign breeds of dogs and cats as domestic pets is gaining popularity while Indian breeds languish on streets.  Indibreeds are found to be equally loving, intelligent and more hardy pets.

Breeders are greedy and aren't real animal lovers.  They illtreat the animals , forcibly mate the females and abandon the females after 'use' as seen in picture above. Yet breeders have mushroomed and are duping innocent buyers. In India it is impossible to implement quality control on mushrooming breeders thanks to online selling.

Meanwhile States in USA ,UK and Australia have made laws to sell only rescued pets in stores. And the world over there is a move to curtail breeding activities in view of large pet populations.

Therefore in India the Pet Stores should be regulated to keep RESCUED Indian/ domestic breeds from NGOs.

Online sale is illegal and should be banned.

Breeders and breeding of all pets should be banned and sterilisation should be mandatory.

Petitioning the Govt of India/Animal Welfare Board of India to introduce the law in India for a period of twenty years until the population of homeless pet dogs / cats / other domesticated Pets is diminished .
