Florida has accounted for around 30% of all COVID-19 cases across the nation recently, setting a new record with over 56,000 cases in two days. The state has gone so far as to request 300 ventilators from the federal government, it's almost surprising that Governor Ron DeSantis is still being as careless with his constituents as he is.
Allowing tourists to pack bars and clubs, the Rolling Loud festival hosted in Miami, full hospitals… and what is DeSantis focused on? Making sure that masks are not mandated in the public school system — effectively ensuring that the super spreader state will not spare school-age children, either.
