Fight for the right to have pets in council properties! #FightForLeo #LeosBill

Hi, I just wanted to tell a story and I think I need to be heard! I live in a studio flat given by the council but the only problem is, I am not allowed pets as I'm on a beginners tenancy.

However, I have an adorable loving friendly kitten called Leo and I love him so much, he means everything to me, and as animal lovers you must know how much your pet means to you. They aren't just a pet but they are family!

I just wanted to say that I have mental health issues of BPD and the past two weeks I've been struggling a lot with it and since my little Leo came into my life I have been SOOO much better... The attention isn't on me, it's on this little one...and the things this animal has done for me it's out of this world! He's the reason I have a purpose in my everyday life, he's the reason why I get out of bed in the morning and go to work, he's given me a purpose and knowing I am not allowed to keep him is literally so unfair! This little guy helps me so much with my mental health, he keeps me intact and gives me a reason to smile every day. 

I'm literally heartbroken that I got told this evening that I have 14 days to get rid of this little pride and joy otherwise my tenancy could be at risk. I don't see a problem with having cats in my home, they are a joy to be around and they don't cause any problems.

And I'm pouring my heart out. Now I have made this petition will you help me and sign it? As I would LOVE to keep my little pride and joy!
