KIMBERLY De Leon a hard working mother of two was murdered in her home. Her ex husband officer De leon a high RANKING member of the St. Lucia police force is a suspect in her murder. He has been a member of the St. Lucia police force for over 20 yrs and so he has lots of colleagues and friends at every level of the police force.
There is an immediate conflict of interest in the police DEPARTMENT assigning a SENIOR officer friend/colleague of officer de leon to INVESTIGATE this matter, especially when there have been several complaints of DOMESTIC ABUSE made to SENIOR level officers by KIMBERLY against her ex husband of which she was going thru a custody battle before her untimely death and nothing was done about it.
The St. Lucia police force has shown their bias immediately by releasing officer De Leon mere hours after bringing him in for questioning, not holding him for the allocated 3 days(72hours) that they could've whilst they gather evidence and information.
Officer De Leon is HIGHLY trained and skilled and knows the police INVESTIGATION process and procedures very well and his mere release so quickly is an opportunity for evidence to disappear or plant.
We need an INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION into such Matters as Mr De Leon personally and professional relationships of over 20 years with high and low ranking members of the police force in itself is a SERIOUS CONFLICT OF INTEREST
