The 2nd Amendment is in The Bill of RIGHTS to protect Americans right to keep and bear arms to protect themselves, and as stated in the amendment, it SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. Regardless of what you have been brainwashed to believe, guns are not responsible for violence. Humans have been killing humans long before guns were ever imagined (pick up a history book once in a while, you can read all about it).
In addition to those points, the only people affected by new gun laws will be the good law abiding citizens that bother to obey said laws. It is ridiculous to believe that someone who is willing to commit murder or armed robbery would be deterred by a law prohibiting them from owning a gun. Criminals will still obtain guns to use for evil purposes and people that obey laws will be dissarmed and defensless. Please dont allow the misguided to steal away the rights of good Americans to defend themselves.
