Support Funding for At-Risk Youth Prevention Programs Today!

According to the bill, HR 1809- To reauthorize and improve the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Act of 1974, it is supporting juveniles and at-risk youth through various programs. No matter what state or city you currently live in, all youth can be at-risk. At-risk youth can mean multiple things, but in this case it is at risk of juvenile delinquency. Many young kids and teenagers can face peer pressure, home troubles, and poverty, which can result in deviant behavior.
This petition is to help funding for prevention programs. These programs will help kids find ways to battle their problems, in a way that works best for them. They can be provided guidance, tutoring and mentoring, participate in fun activities, and so much more! This petition supports the NASW Social Work Code of Ethics by giving equal opportunity and committing and promoting the well being of youth and society.
