Raising minimum driving age

Every year, thousands of accidents are caused by inexperienced drivers, many of whom are just 16 years old. While it's been common to get your driver's license at the age of 16, just as many other things have changed throughout the years, this should be something that needs to change for everyone’s safety.
Raising the age helps establish a sense of responsibility in young drivers. When driving is earned later, it becomes a privilege that teens work toward—not something automatically given at 16.
By delaying the licensing age just two years, we give young people the chance to grow, prepare, and ultimately become better drivers. It’s a small change that could lead to a big difference in our road safety.
So let’s make a change and get this petition signed today.
