Demand an End to the Violent Mass Killing and Torture of Homeless Animals in Uzbekistan, Now!

Uzbekistan is a country in Central Asia and a former Soviet republic. Unfortunately, there are almost no shelters in the contry for homeless animals. Recently it was decided to exterminate the homeless animals all over the country. The mass killing of animals that has started and is still continuing was unprecedentedly violent and reckless, so that it shoked even local animal unlovers. Particularly, the animals were shot or beaten to death in residential areas in front of children. Poisoned food was scattered in many neighborhoods even in front of houses making the animals die in agony. Sometimes, as people say, the Animal Control even entered people's private homes and killed their pets. As a result local animal haters gave themselves a freedom to "help" the Animal Control and are killing them in even more violent way, for example, deliberately driving their cars over animals, stoning and torturing them to death slowly for fun.

It's not only inhuman behaviour towards the poor, innocent, homeless animals, but it also fosters agression and violence in local people. Instead of building shelters and sterilizing homeless animals, the local officials prefered to choose the most wild and cruel measures of getting rid of homeless animals that damages the psyche of people and particularly children, who sees all of that cruelty.
I want people to sign this petition to stop this violent mass killing of poor innocent animals! I want them to demand the Uzbekistan authorities to build governmentally funded shelters like in other civilized countries and sterilize animals instead of killing them, and give them the chance to be adopted! I want people to demand Uzbekistan to adopt proper laws protecting homeless animals from any cruelty and severely punishing people and animal control organizations for cruel treatment and capture of animals! We need your help! We beg you to sign and share this petition to keep this movement alive and create a change for the better!
